PrecisionEdge ("we," "our," or "us") is a golf shot tracking application developed by PrecisionEdge Golf LLC, a Hawaii limited liability company. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.
The short version: Your shot data stays on your device. We do not collect personal information, we do not track you, and we do not sell any data to anyone.
PrecisionEdge collects the following data solely to provide its core functionality — tracking your golf shots and building your dispersion patterns:
GPS coordinates of your shot start and landing positions, used to calculate carry distance and lateral deviation.
Camera access for the AR overlay and shot visualization. Images are processed on-device and are not transmitted or stored externally.
Club selection, target distance, carry distance, lateral deviation, and bearing. All stored locally on your device.
When available, approximate course and hole information is retrieved via a third-party golf course API to assist with distance auto-fill.

All shot data is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. No shot data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.
Your data persists on your device until you choose to delete it using the in-app data management feature. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is removed.
We do not operate servers that store your personal data. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no backups of your data on our systems.
